Jack walked in from his morning workout. He saw the food ceres left for him and downed it in 4 bites.

"Nn, you're getting bigger Io." I purred and scratched the bird's head affectionately. I was still eating, taking my time and enjoying it as the bird stared at Jack.

Jack snickered and thought to himself a kitty that likes birds ironic much. Jack tilted his head in confusion. He wasn't to being stared down by a weird looking bird. "Whats its name? And why is it staring me down?" Jack asked

"His name is Io, and he's staring at you because you didn't share your meal with him." I replied with a small smile.

I apologize" jack said with a small grin. "Does he like fish?"

"I don't think he's ever had Fish but he probably does." I said as I I hopped over to Jack.

Jack summoned his cooler from the corner of the barn that he left the night before. Jack took out a piece of cooked talacula. (Delicacy on hydro. Just like talapia) He held out his hand towards ceres" bird.

Io pecked first at the fish, then at Jack's hand and then at the fish again. He let out a triumphant shriek and grabbed the fish, quickly hobbling back to me and climbing onto my shoulder. The large gold eyes stared unblinkingly at Jack as it scared down the meat.

"Well at least he likes it.But he is still staring me down" jack tilted his head in a curious fashion. "guess Io is trying to see if im friend or foe.

"Actually I think he's trying to figure out if he can eat you." I laughed while fondly scratching Io on his head. "And for your sake I hope he doesn't decide to try. It would be a hassle for me and a problem for you."

"I hope for your cities sake he doesnt" Jack looked down dishearteningly sends his words brought a scary flash back from when he was in cerulea. He quickly covered his eye because the veins were becoming pronounced like they were trying to bleed again. He sat on a nearby hay bail to calm down.

"Oh calm down worry wart I was only joking." I chuckled walking over and sitting on the bed. "Now how about we head out to the ocean already? I think it'll be to your liking. And to make up for it I'll buy you whatever you want for lunch." Io hopped onto the ground and his body began to transform. Within seconds a huge hippogriff stood staring silently. He was about the size of a large nature dragon with midnight blue feather flecked with gold and slitted gold eyes. His front claws and back hooves were gold in color as well. I grabbed an odd neck rope made of fine silk and put it on him. "Hop on, this is the fastest way. He can teleport at the gates to get there faster than even you can run."

Jack was shocked in a calm state due to the fact that birds turn in giant dragon like creature. "Well you've yet to see me run at full speed, but go with the flow is my motto so here it goes." Reluctant to climb on a creature that was deciding if he was a meal or not. He hopped on Io's back behind ceres.

"He's not a dragon creature." I said reading his mind. "He's part griffin and horse." I barely touched my heels to Io's side and he shot off quickly into the sky heading east. After we were about two miles from the town Io put on an extra burst of speed and I shouted back to Jack, "Hang on tight!" Just then the world seemed to spin wildly around us. We were jolted left and right, up and down for what felt like minutes when in reality it was less than a few seconds. Before you knew it Io had landed and stepped onto the nice warm sand. "We're here." I said sliding off and patting Io's shoulder.

Jack got off of Io's back and smiled. "We got to do that again" stepping on the sand he gazed at the beautiful ocean. He then took off his shirt and his shorts only leaving on his trunks. "You swim?" He asked ceres.

Of course I swim." I scoffed and waded straight into the water. Io followed behind and snapped his beak close to my face. "No way, catch your own Fish buddy." I said pushing him away lightly.

Jack took a mighty leap over ceres and Io and landed head first into the water. He started head deeper but not too deep only deep enough to look at the sea floor. (Relatively ten meters deep)

Although I swam farther out I kept to the surface. I wasn't the best swimmer and likes to stay near shore. Io on the other hand swam far out and began diving down to hunt for fish. He was a surprisingly good swimmer.

Jack saw ceres above him, and though it would be a fun idea to startle her a little bit. He saw Io heading to a nearby bait ball a few meters away from ceres. Jack began his stealthy approach.

I watched Io resurfacing with a large silver Fish trapped between his beak. He grabbed it with his front paws and tore into it brutally. I settled down a little actually starting to enjoy the pleasant tempered waters. The waves were low and calm today and I was able to see pretty far down in the crystal clear waters.

Jack slowly swam up from behind her and tickled her sides and quickly backed away and resurfaced.

I jumped with a surprised yelp and spun around. "Don't do that!" I said sending a wave of water splashing his way. "I don't like being touched."

Jack chuckled a little bit. In his mind he thought "haha never heard a yelp so cute before. Just like the donpan beast of my planet. SOOO CUUTE"

I whistled sharply and Io swam over quickly. I awkwardly climbed onto his back and clung tightly to his neck glaring down at Jack. "On second thought, you can eat him after all." I said to Io and stuck my tongue out at Jack. "If you do something like that again you'll shortly find yourself unable to use your hands."

Jack stuck his tongue out. "I dont need to use my hands for this" as he said that a big watery hand knocked ceres off of Io's back and into the water.
