The Tea Shop

Orabelle stalked into the small shop and waited impatiently. She felt a little guilty about leaving Jack but when he invited that, that undead creature she could hardly believe it. Not only was she unnaturally undead but she was an enemy. Belle took her seat at the back of the shop and leaned back in her chair while readjusting her sunglasses. Her eyes strayed down at the cold cup of creamy milk oolong tinged with rose in her hands. "I want to go home..." She said softly to herself before shaking her head.

I walk in the tea shop and stood in line for the cashier. I was looking around and saw Orabelle. I had to double take on her. I came up to her "hey Orabelle, mind if I sit here?"

"Oh hello Helix. Not at all, you may sit where you wish." She said attempting to put on a somewhat friendly smile despite her current mood.

I take my seat. "Something troubling you?"

"Just a little homesick is all." She sighed dismally. "As wondrous as I find this dimension, I quite prefer my own."Belle did not mention Ella or Jack, not wishing to bring that in. "Was it really that obvious?"

I hold my hands together and placed my elbows on the table. "Everyone gets homesick. Why don't you go visit back home? This place will still be here." I adjusted myself "Your facial expression says it all...that and I'm an electric, I kinda feel the currents of vibes around close distances." I smiled back.

Jack landed right in front of the tea shop after taking a giant leap from a tall tower. He went to get juice. He walked in and saw belle and helix at a table. He ordered his drink and walked over there to say hi.

"Well Luna hasn't had a chance to open a portal to my world yet. With the whole dark dragon threat and now Necros she just hasn't had time." Belle sighed staring back down at her tea. "It's not something I want to bug her about." She was about to say something else but when she saw Jack she quickly shut her mouth. When he approached she waved half heartedly and said an awkward hello.

"Hey belle how are you doing" *jack wanted to ask something else but he wanted to go to a secluded place to ask. So small talk was all he could do at the moment.

I look at belle and back to Jack "hey jack" I then look at belle's tea. The moment felt awkward.

"I'm fine now." She said keeping her eyes on the table. "Sorry for ditching..."

Dont worry about it im sure you had your reasons." Jack smiled "hows it goin helix mind if i join y'all."

"Sure, I'm find with that"

"I thought you were going to the beach house?" She asked confused. "Shouldn't you be there?"

"I was worried about you..we can always go another time" jack smiled "What did y'all think of my home planet

"It was nice. Although I'd like to explore the Abyssopelagic Zone sometime." She said feeling bad. "Sorry about that. You should go back."

You're coming with us.."

"No, not today. I think I just want to head back to my room for a bit." She said apologetically. "A little tired... besides I don't think Ella and I would get along."

"Ella's gone," I huffed and wheezed as I caught up with Jack and Helix, "we can have our vacation as planned, scourge-free."

Orabelle sighed, feeling obligated now to go. "Fine. Let's get going then." She said grimly and got up heading out the door and towards the portal.

*Jack and Helix, wtf is wrong with me, I'll fix it when I get the chance

I got up after Orabelle. I adjusted Militis's gauntlets and followed Orabelle.

Jack got up and walked out of the shop. Once he exited the gate he leaped and landed on the side of a building and jumped from one building to another while running along the walls.

New day

I drank at tea shop reading a holographic display from a device on my wrist. Apparently in light of the return of classical necromancy, journals on Colagart were already making a return to differentiating between elements when referring to necromancy. Necros was ironically now being referred to as a thanatomancer by Colagartrune scholars, despite his namesake in common tongue.

I walk in the shop tired and exhausted. I can't remember the last time I was in here. My armor is gone so I resort to a rolled up long sleeve, cargo shorts, some black hightops and Militis's gauntlets. I sat down with my tail waving back n forth slowly. My wings resting on my shoulders. I go to the counter and ask for my favorite berry tea. I couldn't believe I still remembered my favorite tea. I got the cup and limped my way to an empty table and placed my head down on my arms.
