"Hestia, please help check Jack for wounds," I said storming over to Ella.

"Your gut. There is no wound, and yet you continue upon the insistence of being in a state of reanimation. I know you are no fool. There's no point in healing the undead," I said to Ella, the sand beneath my feet ground at my skin. It was irritating, but that familiar sense of irritation kept me focused. I could use it to stay in denial at my own anger to her; she didn't need anger, none of us did.

"If these are the types of minions that necromancer has then I almost feel bad for him." Orabelle said as she picked Jack up. "She's acting like a spoiled brat." She turned towards Margurka and said, "If you aren't going to destroy her then leave her be."

I check Jack wounds to see no fatal injuries, but I still help him heal and help with the pain he might have. "Why would Ella do this. This is not like her at all" I thought. After I finish healing Jack I look toward Margurka "Jack should be fine now, there were no fatal injuries but just to be safe we should to keep a close eye on him"

"The is no hole but if you look closely there are stitches. I came here to check on progress, gather intel, and relax as my memories dwindle." I said waving off their feelings that were no use to me. "And its not like I did something I hadn't before. When he gets like that it's best to knock him out."

Jack opened his eyes slowly and got up (staggering a little bit to his feet) he cracked his neck and his back and in an annoyed tone jack growled "Only one person would do that sort of thing to me...(with a mono toned cold voice) Why hello old friend or should i say minion of necros."

"Exactly. Stitches; useless to the undead. Ella, you are not in your right mind," I continued, "there's absolutely nothing of use to you to learn by vacationing here. You're unbound and becoming beserk, the freedom and empowerment you are feeling are an illusion; you must resist it. If you do not, if you let his mind consume yours, you will lose everything you believe he is giving you."

I got close to his face "You know nothing. Nothing about me or Lord Necros." I said with an icey chill to my voice and stare

"Jack, we should head off to the beach house." Orabelle said tugging his arm lightly. "All undead meet their end one way or another. And hers isn't that far away."

Jacks eyes illuminated orange as he coldly said with a smirk." I may not know the rat bastard that took you away from me, but ive known you for my whole life and nothing you say dead or alive." Jack turned around and walked away for a few steps then said "I dont know why your here or what your objective is but as long as you dont cause trouble you can stay at the lodge with us."

Orabelle stopped in her tracks and turned towards the portal. "I'll catch you around Jack. If Ella's going too then it would be best if I return. Can't stand undead." She said grimly before heading off in the direction of the portal.

Jack was shocked he wondered why belle left like that but then he though in his mind. Then he realized his mistake. He forgot for a split second what orabelle was....He wanted to give chase but knowing her she probably made it to the portal already. He couldn't leave hothead and hestia alone with a minion of necros. Jack was in a bind.

"No I must return to the school. There is someone who wanted to speak with me. And Jack you only knew what I wanted to show." I said walking away to the portal. My mission was done, I needed to create a conflict.

"Your lord's mistake is arrogance. It is infecting you too. That is the first indication of binding; a change in behavior echoing that of the central mind. Another symptom of mind binding is pleasure in losing one's own identity; this subconscious effect afflicts every dark dragon Ella, it's an addiction. A poison. You cannot let it defeat you or there may truly not be anything to save the next time we meet. I know you're still in there. You weren't the kind to need another, you were strong; an independent woman. You wouldn't bend to some delusional lunatic unless you were being afflicted, you know this," I called to Ella, unsure of how much of her logical mind remained intact, it was the only hope if her memories were already fading.

I waved my hand lazily over my shoulder ignoring him and kept walking. 'What did he know of my struggles?' I thought to myself.

I gritted my teeth, thinking of how callous she was being towards Jack, and enraged of her hard-headed refusal to acknowledge me; but I was not my brother, my sister, nor my parents. I'd never been one to hold in my feelings. As disappointing as it were, I exploded. The sand at my feet glassed.

"Ella, you are acting like a- a-" I stammered a moment in my anger, the crackle of sand and bubbling water filling the gaps of my words, "a mud-wader! WhAt has become of you?!"

I stopped dead in my tracks. I was back in his face quicker than you can say Lyghtstone. "I am not a water dragon." I gritted. My nails grew sharp into talons. I placed my hand around his face digging my talons into his cheeks. "Why do you care so much, huh? You didn't stop him from taking me from you and Svienn and Jack and everyone. You couldn't even stop him from attacking us. What I've become is a dead electric dragon that continues to wander because someone saw my potential and brought me back. I still have things I need to do that is why I breathe. I could kill you now but I won't because that isn't what Necros wants. I have a question did you love me when I was alive? Is that why you care so much?"

"WHAT?" I blurted, dumbstruck, blushing, and unsure of how to respond.

Did I love her? Where by the great flaming pits did that come from?

Despite every point she made having a reasonable response, or just being plain unreasonable in itself, the idea threw me out of my own body completely and I nearly had no thought how to react. Nearly.

Shaking my head and stammering the start of my sentence, I spoke, "Ella I knew you barely a fortnight, perhaps I had an inkling of feeling for you, but love does not come at first sight. And again you mistake my careful use of words. You are acting [i]like[\i] a mud-wader; a very confused mud-wader."

I crossed my arms and looked away angrily with my eyes shut; pouting.

I laughed lowly "I am not a water dragon. And your face shows everything. Plus we knew each other much longer than two weeks." I let go of his face and trailed on talon down the length of his arm. "Something to remember me by." I smirked, seeing the blood run down his arm. I turned and finally walked through the portal.

The blood dripped into the sand, and my arm quivered from the pain; the only reaction I would show.

"Jack, are you okay?" I turned to him, before saying to Hestia, awkwardly, "thank you for helping him. I'm sorry about that. It was a lot for you to have to stand in on I'm sure it was as strange for you as the rest of us."

Coming from the water I lost track of the time (I'm showing up late) I swam out of the water and looked across the beach. "Whoa, what happened here?"

"Ella showed up, but that's been dealt with...in a manner of speaking," I said, before turning to Jack and grabbing his shoulder, "now we must find Orabelle. She left here in a hurry, and Jack stayed by our sides, so now I shall stand by his. What do you say?"

"what are we waiting for? Let's go"

Jacks eyes were burning orange. He was seething with anger at ella's actions and her words. Murderous intent filled his mind for the person who took his friend away from him. Now the only person that could possibly keep him from doing something he will regret has left. Jack hatred for necros was strong but his affection towards orabelle was stronger. He knew that hot head and helix were behind him on this, but his body was frozen with anger that he shown no response. With a clinch of his leg muscles and a small pothole in the sand jack took off towards the portal.
