Cafe' Trip On a sunny day

Jack was sitting at a table outside the cafe drinking a soda and enjoying the day as he waited for his food.

Silver took a seat at one of the outside tables to enjoy the sunny day. He was absolutely delighted to have finally been able to leave Amets and have some peace. He hoped Athemise was getting along well with the general. He leaned back and closed his eyes with a content sigh, his tail flicking ever so slightly here and there.

Jack was on his mid day run through the city. He was going to stop at the cafe for lunch. He rounded the corner then dashed to the cafe which was only a few meters away. At the speed he was going he created a strong gust of wind behind him. As soon as he ran passed the cafe on accident the gust knocked over cups and table sheets. He then stopped himself just a little bit passed the main entrance.

Lucky for Silver he had been holding his coffee in his hands. The sudden gust of wind did startle him a little but he recognized the guy a little from school.

Jack turned around and recognized the guy sitting at the outside table who was probably the only one who held their cup. Jack approached him and said "Hey have we met before you seem oddly familiar."

"No I do not believe we have." He said taking a sip from his coffee. "I am Silver. Who are you?" He sucked in a breath unhappy for the company. After the decision he had made about Athemise all he really wanted to do was to either hit the local brothel or just return home. "You must go to the school too huh?"

"yes i do. The name's jack neptune nice to meet you silver." Jack extended his hand out for a handshake.

"Pleasure." He replied shaking his hand firmly. "So, do you often make entrances like that here?"

"Unfortunately I cant help it. Im still getting used to living on land. On my home planet hydro ive spent a large part of my life in the abyssal regions of the ocean training."

"Fascinating." Silver said before finishing his coffee. "Can't say I've ever been a huge fan of the ocean. Never been there. Hell, I haven't even been in the lake they have here." He said with a humorless smile. "I prefer a climate that's more.... dry."

"Hmmm you a fire elemental or something?"

"Yes, I am a fire element. But that has nothing to do with it really." He said finishing off his coffee. "You are a water element?"

I am indeed my good sir, why dont you like the water though?"

"Bad experiences, let's just leave it at that." He said grimly. He shivered at the memories of his brother holding his head underwater until one of the servants had happened to walk by and stopped him.

What ever you say silver" Jack said with a smile "what planet are you from?"
