"Bet that wouldn't be a first." Malachite muttered under his breath. He himself had no idea how they'd moved, in fact, he hadn't even noticed until the tall girl had pointed it out. The prospect fascinated him and he watched other students carefully but the ones he saw seemed to be in the same place.

"Well! This will be fun!" I get up an look around enthusiastically, "What shall I attempt first?" Does it affect all 3 axis? X,Y and Z? What is causing the room to act this way? Is it magic? Surely this isn't a natural occurrence... I wish I were here when Zerta explained it so I had a better idea of what I was dealing with. I don't really want to move for fear of making a fool of myself, but how else shall i figure it out? Oh. I reach into my pocket and pull out a glass marble. I toss it forward, but my eyes can't follow it and I lose it, "Damnit..." I turn to see if it ended up behind me, but after I finished turning around I ended up facing the same way I started. "Really?? Ugh. this is going to be tedious."

Flies up but ends up in the same spot)....the fuck?...(tries to walk forward but ends up walking sideways into a wall)...ack!.....what the hell?!...ugh

Malachite was becoming more and more irritated as time went on. Sometimes he'd go backwards, sometimes sideways and rarely forwards. The few times he did make it forward he had no idea how. At one point he was even stuck against a wall for what felt like 10 minutes before he was able to move forward.

"Of course I am." He hissed crossly as he found himself a few feet back from where he just was. "I'm wondering how we're expected to do this when that damned 'instructor' refuses to explain how." Arainmeon was staying quiet for the moment. He knew that if he said anything Malachite would be more likely to throw him off and leave him to his own devices.

I had been studying everyone's movements. Aside from the room moving me on its own, I haven't moved much more than a few steps on my own. It vaguely reminded me of a mirror maze, but whenever you walk into a "mirror", instead of smacking your face against a glass wall you are moved to another part of the room. "Ugh. Zerta. What purpose does this even serve?"

Malachite was becoming more irritated and sat down where he was for a second. He decided to take a few moments to calm down and clear his mind. He listened to the other students speaking as they passed all around him and eventually drowned them out. Soon calm flooded through his body again and he stood back up.

I continued down the wall and suddenly fell down some kind of hole, then appeared back through the ceiling and fell flat on my face. "So much for that." I said, muffled by the floor.
