A Feeling of Foreboding

I nodded sadly and looked at Teku, "I'm so sorry, but this is for the best of all of us." I said. And in a moment my two fingers pressed her forehead and made her forget what just happened and replaced it with me telling her to go help the others and that I got this. "I'll take care of this tower, go to the others please. Go while you have a chance."

I nodded as she flew away. "There, you happy now?" I said to him

"Satisfied. No sane man finds joy in these things. Now, do what you will, I have a tower to destroy," Mercy stepped inside past Athemise, roots and plants slowly creeping into the cracks and crevices of the tower, forcing them wider, the tower began to buckle and shake.

The doors to my tower finally smashed, and I listened to the clashing of metal and wisping of spells erupt.

I can't hold the tower alone, my team is doing their best holding the door. They've broken through, but I can't do anything for them while I'm making sure this tower doesn't get deactivated.

I started lobbing magma balls over the side of the tower at the attackers blindly.

Somebody help! Luna make a call!

I heard Margurka's call and spread my wings to fly to him."Im on my way!" I yelled as flew closer to him.

"By Volum," I called as the first of my soldiers died, "I could sure use the support!"

I shot a wall of flames and kept it burning as intensely as I could to control the influx of attackers.

"Ugh...!" I held my head in my hands as my mind raced to find a solution that could satisfy everyone. Fine. I call out. We will retreat. Everyone retreat. Grab the injured and the civilians and get out. I pause, "I need to go to my room..."
I stand up again, hating my decision, but accepting it none the less, and teleported straight into my room.

Powerful roots crashed from underneath Mercy, protecting him in a shell of wood as the tower crumbled. When the dust settled, he made his was to the powerful crystal that had been at the center, taking it and retreating into the surrounding foliage; leaving the battle behind him.

I entered my closet, found the false door and collapsed the portal inside, then sealed the door permanently. If anyone went to open it they would find it issimply a wall. "Great. Now I need to find a new safe spot..." I sighed, running my hand along my closet wall as I walked out. I stepped over to my window, noticing it was broken. "Nice going Athemise..." I stepped out and began dropping to the floor. Last second I opened my wings and glided across the floor. "Head Mistress wont be happy when she gets back from her meeting with the council..." I then yelled telepathically and vocally, "Get your asses in gear! We're moving out! Fall behind and you're left behind!"

I nodded at her thoughts and flew around the area grabbing civilians and injured students and following Luna.

Finally, I thought to myself, a fight I can actually do something with.

I shook my shoulders, wrists, head, and legs out, and chunks of armor folded out around me with satisfying clunks. I blasted forward through the dozens of troops blocking the entrance, creating a path for my soldiers to follow me. A zig zag of explosions and a trail of fire were nearly all of the indication of where I was.
